Job Summary:
Join metal parts together using heat and pressure, ensuring high-quality welds that meet safety and industry standards.
Our client in the Renewable Industry sector is seeking a talented and experienced WELDER.
Salary Range:
- Junior Welder (0-1 year of experience): R8,000 - R12,000 per month.
- Experienced Welder (1-3 years of experience): R12,000 - R18,000 per month.
- Senior Welder (3+ years of experience): R18,000 - R25,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
1. *Welding*: Weld metal parts together using various welding processes, such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
2. *Material Preparation*: Prepare metal parts for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and shaping.
3. *Equipment Maintenance*: Maintain welding equipment, including cleaning and replacing consumables.
4. *Quality Control*: Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
5. *Safety Procedures*: Follow safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:
1. *Qualifications*: Relevant technical qualification, such as a National Certificate in Welding.
2. *Experience*: 1-2 years of experience as a welder.
3. *Knowledge*: Strong understanding of welding processes, safety procedures, and metallurgy.
4. *Skills*: Proficient in using welding equipment, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) machines.
5. *Physical Ability*: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
6.* Must be in possession of a Valid Passport and be prepared to travel to Germany for further training in line with the project

Working Conditions:
1. *Work Environment*: Manufacturing plant, fabrication shop, or construction site.
2. *Physical Demands*: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to heat, noise, and dust.
3. *Safety Equipment*: Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, and safety glasses.
