Job Description
Durban Pumps Technologies, a leading company in the water pumps industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. If you have a Diploma or N6 qualifications in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment for water pumps in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in pumps, control panels, and related components.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the integrity and efficiency of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operations of pump systems.
- Assist in the design and implementation of electrical plans for new projects.
- Understand and adhere to safety procedures and practices at all times.
Requirements:
- Diploma or N6 qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in the water pumps industry.
- Proven knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations pertaining to electrical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
