Job Description
The following are some of the duties that will be expected of the successful candidate:
Contract Management duties:
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SLA and employment Agreements on behalf of Lesedi PFS
• Provide redlined recommendations for all standard and nonstandard contracts, and whenever possible, negotiate directly with individuals, attorneys, or vendors until a consensus has been reached.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating inter alia Acknowledgements of debts, Cession Agreements, Surety Agreements
Responsible for addressing and finding solutions to any and all labour disputes, including but not limited to the following:
• Actioning terminations
• Resolving complaints and grievances
• Presiding over or initiating disciplinary hearings, as well as drafting charges against the accused
• Representation at the CCMA
• Drafting and issuing of warnings
• Suspending employees
• Keeping track of multiple schedules for both external customers and internal operations
• Various responsibilities general to administration
• General responsibilities related to human resources, such as maintaining an accurate record of employees' leaves.
• Client-focused strategic advisor on matters pertaining to labour legislation
Requirements for the position:
• Previous IR experience of at least 5 years
• Legal background and knowledge
• Degree would be beneficial but not essential
