Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:
The person will be responsible for inspecting and testing products at various stages of production to identify defects, deviations from specifications, and non-conformances. Attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our organisation. The person must be able to balance multiple projects requiring varying skill sets in highly dynamic and diverse working environment, and must be able to work independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for the inspection of products and documentation in accordance with the clients and or project requirements.
Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Utilize a variety of measurement tools and equipment to verify product conformity.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, including any defects or discrepancies.
Complete inspection reports and forms, ensuring all relevant data is documented.
Perform functional tests and non-destructive testing methods as required by specifications.
Analyse test results to identify deviations and non-conformities.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate and determine the root causes of defects or non-conformities.
Suggest and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve any quality issues.
Ensure products adhere to industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality control procedures.
Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Report any equipment malfunctions or calibration issues promptly.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and reduce defects.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
Communicate inspection findings and quality issues effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Work closely with production teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
