Job Description

Senior Bookkeeper (JB5224)
Vorna Valley, Midrand (Office Based)
R40 000 - R50 000 CTC per month
Medical Aid
Permanent

Seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join a dynamic team supporting multiple companies within a growing group.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership (along with another Senior Bookkeeper) of the full bookkeeping function and support executive decision-making through accurate financial reporting.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed finance/accounting-related degree.
5 or more years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with solid experience at a senior level.
Proficiency in Sage/Xero/QuickBooks and Excel.
Experience in managing the full financial function for small to medium-sized businesses.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts, Profit and Loss, age analysis, and costings.
Manage cash flow, payments, and bank reconciliations.
Handle VAT201, EMP201, income tax, and payroll processing.
Maintain intercompany loans, GL accounts, and budget comparisons.
Oversee HR admin, Workmen’s Comp, and fixed asset register.
Process debtors and creditors, including invoicing and follow-ups.
Manage credit cards, forex documentation, and monthly journals.
Maintain inventory items on Sage and support audit processes.
Assist with general office administration as required.
