Our client is a leading provider of power solutions, and they are seeking a driven and knowledgeable individual to join their team as a Generator Sales & Consultant. This unique role blends sales expertise with technical consulting, allowing you to guide clients through the process of selecting the perfect generator for their needs.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and lead generation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their power requirements and providing expert guidance on generator selection.
• Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to determine appropriate generator sizing, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Analyse client needs and recommend suitable generator applications, including backup power, prime power, and other specialized uses.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, clearly outlining the benefits of recommended solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, installation, and ongoing customer support.
Qualifications:
• An Electrical Engineering Qualification or a related field.
• A track record in sales, preferably in the power generation or related industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, generator technology, and diverse applications (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial).
• Demonstrated ability to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
