Job Description
Your Expedition:
• You will transform client visions into reality by meticulously planning, quoting, and booking personalized journeys throughout the captivating landscapes of Southern Africa.
• Deeply understand client desires, budgets, and unique needs, ensuring every detail aligns with their expectations.
• Seamlessly coordinate all aspects of travel, from reservations and confirmations to supplier communication and meet-and-greet arrangements.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with international agents, providing timely updates and managing all reservation-related inquiries.
• Navigate unforeseen challenges with grace and efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth travel experiences.
• Leverage your expertise in Tourplan (or similar systems) to efficiently manage and track reservations.
Your Essential Gear:
• Matric/Grade 12 Certification.
• A Travel & Tourism qualification is highly valued.
• Minimum 4 years of proven expertise in FIT/tailor-made tour consulting within the tour operating sector.
• Strong knowledge of Southern African destinations and tourism industry best practices.
• Exceptional negotiation skills to secure optimal rates and availability.
• Fluency in French is highly desirable, enabling seamless communication with international clients and partners.
• Excellent organizational and logistical abilities.
• A passion for creating unforgettable travel experiences.
