Job Description
Location: All Cape and KZN
Working Hours: 08h30 – 17h30
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Objective:
The Sales Representative is the person in charge of managing a company's relationships with its customers. They are in charge of developing new market, new customers, building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. The goal is to keep clients or accounts as long as possible. Will be in charge of finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, service application, logistics, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establishing new business and promotion of SMART METERS for both WATER and ELECTRICITY.
2. Able to independently design and write project plans and project proposals, and
have the ability to explain plans and presentations to users.
3. Ability to independently write presentations.
4. Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
5. Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings.
6. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
7. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
8. Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Forecast and track key account metrics.
10. Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
11. Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
12. Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
13. Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product.
14. Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.
15. Liaise between the customer and internal teams.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background
Degree in Electrical, Sales, or Business Management
Work Experience
At least 5- 15 years working experience in the Metering Industry, as a Technical Engineer or Sales Manager.
Other:
Must be able to travel from time to time, either between cities or countries.
Must have a driver’s license.
Must be self-motivated and able to face challenges.
Good understanding of the bid requirements for the solar energy industry
Good understanding of renewable energy project development processes.
