Job Description
Our Client is a leading property development company based at Century City. They are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in Pastel Accounting, Sage VIP Payroll and Excel
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Manage and oversee financial data entry and filing systems.
- Assisting with fortnightly wages
- Assisting with frontline reception, insurance claims and consents
Requirements:
- Relevant Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus
- 3 Years proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in Pastel Accounting, Sage VIP Payroll and Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
