Job Description

As the BEE Advisor you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and support to our
clients in navigating the complex landscape of BEE legislation and regulations.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our clients understand and comply with BEE requirements
effectively.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights, conducting assessments, and delivering
comprehensive recommendations tailored to each client's unique needs.

Responsibilities:
1. BEE Compliance Guidance:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on BEE legislation, regulations, codes of good practice,
and industry best practices.
• Provide comprehensive guidance to clients on BEE compliance requirements and
obligations.
• Interpret and analyse BEE scorecards, certificates, and related documentation to assess
compliance levels.
• Advise clients on strategies to improve their BEE scores and achieve their compliance
goals.

2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

• Establish strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of
contact for all BEE-related matters.
• Conduct in-depth consultations and needs assessments to understand clients' unique
compliance challenges and objectives.
• Develop customized BEE compliance strategies and action plans aligned with clients'
business goals.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, addressing their questions, concerns,
and requests in a timely and professional manner.

3. Compliance Assessments and Reporting:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current BEE compliance status, identifying
strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed compliance reports, scorecards, and performance metrics for clients,
highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Assist clients in preparing and submitting BEE compliance reports to regulatory bodies,
ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
4. Legislative Updates and Industry Trends:

• Stay up to date with the latest developments in BEE legislation, regulations, codes, and
industry trends.
• Monitor changes in BEE policies and communicate relevant updates and implications to
clients.
• Analyze the impact of legislative changes on clients' compliance strategies and provide
proactive recommendations.
5. Training and Education:

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients, educating them on BEE compliance
requirements, methodologies, and strategies.
• Develop training materials, presentations, and resources to support client education and
awareness initiatives.
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to clients' internal teams, ensuring a thorough
understanding of BEE compliance principles.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• B-BBEE MDP Qualification
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) legislation,
codes, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience working as a BEE consultant, advisor, or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legislation and
provide practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a
clear and understandable manner.
• Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term
relationships.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements and
deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using software tools and platforms related to BEE compliance assessment and
reporting.

Desired Skillset:
• Good understanding of Employment Equity legislation
• Implementation of EE compliance strategies
