Location: Hermanstad, Pretoria
Salary: R20 000 – R30 000 (depending on experience)
About the Opportunity:
Our client in the Sheet Metal Industry is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join their Pretoria-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex technical drawings, collaborating in production meetings, and ensuring precise design execution.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Use measuring tools such as tape measures and verniers accurately
Prepare CAD models and drawings for sheet metal components
Participate in production planning and meetings
Ensure quality and accuracy across technical documents
Minimum Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing
- Experience using measuring equipment (tape measure & vernier)
- Solid background in the Sheet Metal industry
- Matric with Technical Drawings as a subject
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Signmanest
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Detail-oriented and thrives under pressure
- Problem-solving mindset
