Job Description

the public and private sectors. They are currently seeking a Senior Architect with 10 years plus
experience to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Manage, coordinate, and execute architectural projects from inception
to completion, including design resolution, cost engineering, technical documentation, and
site administration.
Design & Documentation: Deliver design work and detailed documentation in alignment
with the SAIA Client Architect Agreement. Ensure high-quality output that integrates
seamlessly with the building procurement and construction processes.
Team & Project Management: Lead project teams or manage components of larger projects.
Oversee team performance, delegate tasks effectively, and uphold the integrity and
accuracy of project deliverables.
Client & Consultant Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and consultants.
Coordinate project inputs and maintain consistent, professional communication throughout.
Compliance & Quality Control: Adhere to Jakupa’s Quality Management System (QMS) and
uphold internal standards, policies, and industry regulations.
Mentorship & Development: Support junior staff in developing their skills while proactively
growing your own technical and design capabilities, contributing to the firm's research
initiatives.
Administrative Duties: Maintain meticulous project records, handle document filing, manage
print tracking, and ensure proper usage of digital systems in accordance with company
policies.
Professional Conduct: Maintain registration with relevant statutory bodies. Represent the
company with integrity, adhering to ethical standards and safeguarding the firm’s reputation
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Architect with a strong portfolio of built work
Exceptional leadership, coordination, and communication skills
High-level proficiency in relevant software tools and document control systems
Proficiency in architectural design, detailing, technical documentation, and project administration
Registered with a professional architectural body (or in the process of maintaining registration)
