Job Purpose
Maintain Mechanical, Electrical, and basic structural equipment, to ensure that the plant is fully utilized to the maximum capacity at the High Chrome Ball Plant in a safe manner

Key Work Outputs And Accountabilities
Production And Maintenance
• Be aware of all plant production and maintenance requirements and participate in resolution of production and maintenance problems.
• Conduct daily/shift maintenance of plant, ensure that plant availability is utilized to the maximum, been in all aspects of the trade. o Mechanical equipment.
o Electrical equipment.
o Basic Boiler making related tasks.
• Evaluate repair and modification requests of plant equipment and systems maintenance practices to determine cause s malfunctions and modification needs.
• Delegating of tasks daily and ensuring it gets completed according to standard.
• Check plant spares needed and follow up on the ordering of it.
• Take note of persistent issues in the plant and assist to get it resolved.
• Allocate tasks if the Foreman/Superintendent is not in.
Production Process
• Understand production process by ensuring there is better equipment availability, prevent customer complaints and Identifying possible future equipment failure
Administration
• Proper record-keeping and documentation in place to enable follow-up and improvement of activities performance.
• Attend meeting if Foreman/Superintendent is not in
• Make sure employees adhere to time keeping
• Completing the plant inspections and reporting faulty equipment

Qualifications:
Essential:
• Grade 12 (Mathematics)
• Trade Test – Millwright
Skills And Knowledge:
• Must be honest, reliable and trustworthy.
• Be able to read and write English
