We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Extrusion Supervisor to oversee one of three extrusion shifts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient production, team management, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:
Plan, organize, and supervise extrusion processes to meet production targets in terms of output, quality, and timelines.
Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime.
Optimize production efficiency by reducing waste and improving cycle times.
Team Leadership:
Manage, train, and motivate a team of operators and assistants on responsible shifts.
Conduct shift handovers, performance reviews, and team meetings to ensure alignment with production goals.
Address discipline issues and foster a culture of accountability and discipline.
Quality Assurance:
Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure all products meet quality standards.
Conduct regular checks systems, processes, products, machinery settings, and documentation.
Adherence to root cause analyses and preventative measures when presented with non-conformances.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records, downtime reports, and waste records.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports and feedback on output, efficiency, and other KPIs as required.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting risk assessments.
Adhere to all ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an extrusion environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of extrusion machinery, processes, and troubleshooting.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in using MS Office tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Production efficiency (Plan vs. Actual Output).
Machine uptime and downtime reduction.
Waste reduction and quality improvement.
SOP compliance and accurate record-keeping.
Team performance and adherence to safety protocols.
