About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Straddle Excavator Operator to join our [construction/logistics/mining] team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a straddle excavator to safely and efficiently handle materials in line with operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate a straddle excavator to lift, move, load, and position materials.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Report any faults, defects, or safety concerns promptly.
• Comply with all site safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Support other site operations as required.
Minimum Requirements
• Valid and up-to-date certification to operate a straddle excavator.
• Minimum of [X] years of proven experience operating straddle excavators (or similar heavy equipment).
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends if required.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.
