About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, detail-driven Graphic Designer & E-Commerce Web Developer to join our team in Sandton. This role combines strong visual design skills with advanced e-commerce development and marketplace integration expertise. You’ll be responsible for building visually appealing websites, managing online stores, and integrating with major marketplaces to maximize reach and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
Create engaging graphics for websites, social media, product packaging, and marketing campaigns.
Maintain and enhance brand identity across all channels.
Produce promotional visuals, banners, and ads to support marketing efforts.
Edit and optimize images for web use while maintaining quality and speed.
E-Commerce Web Development
Build, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar).
Ensure sites are mobile-friendly, fast-loading, and SEO optimized.
Manage product listings, categories, and inventory integrations.
Configure secure payment gateways and shipping options.
Marketplace & Integration Management
Manage and optimize Google Analytics, Google Shop, Meta Shop, and Shopping Feeds.
Implement and manage API integrations with online marketplaces (e.g., Takealot, Amazon) and suppliers.
Set up and maintain product feeds for Google, Meta, and other marketing platforms.
Ensure product data accuracy and synchronization across all sales channels.
Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to execute campaigns and product launches.
Analyze online performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Stay up to date with e-commerce, design, and marketing technology trends.
Requirements
Proven experience as a graphic designer and e-commerce developer (portfolio required).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
Strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, Meta Shop, and Shopping Feeds.
Experience with API integrations for marketplaces and suppliers.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
Ability to work Monday to Friday and every alternative Saturday on-site in Sandton.
Bonus Skills
Experience with PPC advertising on Google and Meta platforms.
Basic video editing or motion graphics skills.
