Performing Arc Welding, CO₂ Welding, TIG Welding, and Stick Welding on mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
Fabricating custom signage frames, pylons, lightboxes, and 3D lettering for top clients across Randburg, Fourways, Roodepoort, and Johannesburg North.
Using boilermaker skills for sheet metal cutting, bending, and heavy fabrication.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings for signage and structural steel.
Assisting with on-site installations of welded signage solutions.
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards in the workshop and at client sites.
Maintaining welding machines, tools, and consumables in peak condition.
Skills & Qualifications Required
To be considered for this Welder vacancy in Kya Sands, you should have:
Proven experience in Arc Welding, CO₂ Welding, TIG Welding, and Stick Welding.
Strong background in signage fabrication or boilermaker work.
Ability to work from technical drawings and ensure accuracy.
Knowledge of power tools, grinders, and cutting machines.
At least Grade 12 / Matric. A welding trade test or certification is an advantage.
