Senior Overhead Crane Technician

OVERHEAD CRANE TECHNICIAN – URGENT CAPE TOWN

My client is looking for an experienced. Install, assemble, service and overhaul, repair hoists and other lifting machines and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Build Electrical panels of all Cranes.
Conduct routine service inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues or malfunctions.
Perform repairs and troubleshoot on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components of overhead cranes.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
Ensure compliance and safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of prescribed personal protective equipment.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, maintenance and repair logs.
Carry out ad-hoc tasks as and where necessary per request from the employer.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
At least 5 years traceable experience.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Able to climb ladders, work at considerate heights and confined spaces.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
All admin to be completed accurately and submitted to office daily for processing
Valid Driver's Licence.
