Job Description
Position: Technical Test Analyst
Location: Bellville (not remote)
Industry: Information Technology
Salary: R28 000 – R40 000 (CTC) p/m

Essential requirements and experience

• Grade 12 (with mathematics)
• ISEB / ISTQB Testing qualification or equivalent
• 3 years+ work experience in an IT test environment
• Good understanding of automation testing tools & testing web-based software applications using Selenium & Java (or similar technologies)
• Coding skills in preferably Java/JavaScript
• Capable of performing OS, VM and software installations
• Test automation knowledge
• Experience in creating & maintaining testing environments
• Attention to detail
• Deadline driven
• Team orientated & ability to work independently

Preferable Skills
• ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst qualification
• Experience with Network Simulation tools, e.g. MIMIC, GNS
• Linux skills
Duties
• Contribute to the Technical Testing function (manual & automated) to meet testing requirements
• Perform software testing (Front-end, Back-end Testing and Data Validations) to complement existing UI Testing
• Ability to operate independently while delivering work outputs to meet quality & standards of employer
• Perform OS, VM and software installations
• Create and maintain testing environments
