Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to all employees. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining computer networks. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our computer systems and data.

Responsibilities:

-Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
-Troubleshoot hardware and software issues reported by users and resolve them in a timely manner.
-Install and configure computer systems, including operating systems and applications.
-Maintain computer networks, including troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues.
-Ensure the security and integrity of computer systems and data by implementing and monitoring security measures.
-Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as monitoring system performance, backing up data, and applying software updates.
-Train and educate users on how to use computer systems and applications effectively.

Requirements:

-At least 2 years of experience working as an IT Technician.
-At least 2 years of networking experience.
-In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Knowledge of network protocols and configuration.
-Experience with administration of VoIP systems.
-Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
-CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+
-Ability to lift and move computer equipment.
-Experience in and IT role within a call centre (advantageous).
