Job Description
Based on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, this 5-star property is known as a historic landmark in the Winelands. We are seeking an experienced SOUS CHEF to join a highly driven and dynamic team.
The ideal individual for the SOUS CHEF position is someone with a strong skill set relating to management, admin, operations with a love for food and staff development.
Previous experience in running and managing a busy 5* Hotel kitchen operations, quality driven, a leader, stable and able to perform under pressure. A formal Culinary education and own reliable transport and valid driver’s license is essential.
The Key Focus for the SOUS CHEF will be as a support for the deli (high volume breakfast and lunch) and a relief chef in other operational areas.
