Job Description
Job Position: Junior Civil Foreman
Site: Kenhardt – Northern Cape
Salary: R12K – R15K (depending on experience)
Duration: 6 – 8 Months Contract
Minimum Requirements:
• A National Diploma in Building & Civil Engineering
• Experience 3 - 5 years working on roads and water projects
• Must be reliable & have contactable references
• Experience on large civil infrastructure projects
• Understand and interpret structural drawings
• In - depth knowledge and experience with concrete casting, rehabilitation and reinforcement
• Steel fixing
• Painting concrete structures
• Scaffolding, working on heights
• Managing and supervising teams / labourers
• Time management
• Managing of site diary /reports
• Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety
• Labour and Legislature
• Concrete casting, rehabilitation and reinforcement
Skills
• Relevant qualification with Minimum 3 - 5 years or more experience required
• Good communication skills and be presentable
• Problem solving skills
• Decision-making ability
• Ability to motivate others
• Able to start immediately
