Board Shop Service Assistant North Riding

Our Cut & Edge Boardshop team in North Riding ,Gauteng is actively seeking a woodworking machine operator to join our highly driven and energized group. Among other things, roles and responsibilities include :

Skill and expertise in operating woodworking machinery
Maintenance of Machinery to ensure efficiency while conforming to quality standards
starts the machine and feeds components into a machine that applies glue to the edges of stock, pulls edging strips from the feed chute onto the edges, and dries glue on heated plates.
Reading and interpreting cut lists and following verbal instructions
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Cleaning the machine and workstation at the end of a shift and ensuring that the preventative maintenance schedule is adhered to will indicate parts that need to be regularly oiled, greased, and sprayed.
Qualifications and SkillsEssential Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience Must be willing to work the retail hour Own Vehicle is essential to have a “can do” positive and enthusiastic attitude
