Money Handling Equipment Field Technician

Technical Duties:
Technical helpdesk support
Maintenance, service, and repair of money handling equipment
Installation of money handling equipment, like safes, asset management systems, and card terminals
Regular preventative maintenance of money handling equipment
Collections and deliveries of stock and equipment
Assembly and testing of equipment.

Experience required:
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in the money handling sector:
 Data communication and computer networks
 Trouble shooting protocols.
 Equipment repairs
 Technical support

Qualifications:
N6 or equivalent qualification/s with Information Technology and Electronics related subjects.

Additional requirements:
A valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Brilliant communication skills to render help desk support in both English and Afrikaans
Approachable with good listening skills and the ability to build and maintain excellent customer relations.
Honest and prepared to undertake polygraph tests when required.
Meticulous time management skills, a task focussed personality, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Diligent and enthusiastic to learn and excel.
Reside in Pretoria or Centurion.

Travel:
We expect the candidate to travel, using its own transport. The candidate’s vehicle must always be roadworthy

Security Screening:
All applicants must declare any prior accepting the employment offer if the candite was convicted of a criminal offence or are currently under investigation of any wrongdoing.
The candidate agrees to lie detection tests and security screening prior an employment offer

Working hours:
Work hours during the week will be from 8:00 till 17:00. The candidate will be on standby for 2 weeks of the month until 20:30 in the evenings. It will be expected from the candidate to work longer hours from time to time but the candidate will be able to take time off for the additional hours worked
The candidate will work 3 Saturdays per month from 8:00 till 13:00

Screening will be done to see if minimum requirements are met, and selected applicants will be invited to interviews.
