Job Description

A. Operations

1. Day-to-day carrying out of O&M work on static and mobile generators; ensuring SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, due dates and specifications are complied with set objectives.
2. Conduct spot check inspections, job completion assessments, end-to-end maintenance schedule execution and assurance.
3. Completion of physical on-site inspections of all static and mobile generators in assigned cluster within given timelines.
4. Community liaison as applicable.
5. Take ownership of all planned work activities on assigned sites
6. Receive diesel supply from vendor, sign off way bill and site log book.
7. Ensure diesel supply to the site is adequate for every cycle and alerts RM and FSE on diesel levels or any shortfall.
8. Receive quarterly maintenance plan from the FSE and ensure strict adherence to the implementation of the schedule.
9. Request and receive maintenance materials form the warehouse, third party suppliers, or regional office.
10. Perform maintenance work after approval is granted and ensure that all spares and replaceable materials are returned to the warehouse or regional office.
11. Prepare all requirement for routine/non-routine maintenance work to be reviewed by the RM and FSE.
12. Perform and execute all planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on required and assigned static and mobile generators.
13. Rectify and replace any faulty: generator battery, kick starter, oil pump, diesel pump, injector pump, water pump, charging alternator, radiator leakages and radiator replacement, sensors replacement with corresponding connections, fan belt, alternator faults and AVR, control unit and circuit breaker, cleanup of nozzles, replacement of oil sink, crank shaft, coupling issues, alternator excitor, etc.
14. Responsible to execute all repair (corrective activities) on static and mobile gensets: top overhauling and complete overhauling
15. Ensure snags captured after validation are fixed as appropriate.
16. Identify the need for asset replacement on site with proofs.
17. Escalate all site access/restriction issues and theft cases as appropriate.

B. General Duties
1. Promote communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise.
2. Write and submit reports to the RM and FSE in all matters relating to the regional unit.
3. Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
4. Perform other appropriate duties as requested by RM and FSE.
Salary:
250.000,00 ZAR Monthly
