Job Description
A well-established packaging manufacturer has a vacancy for an Extrusion Supervisor. The role is based in Cape Town, Southern Suburbs and will report to the Extrusion Head of Department.
The job requirements and duties are as follows:
• Organizing team and machines for the required production
• Making sure the machine and materials are ready for production
• Record keeping of production output
• Attending to machine breakdown and applying corrective measure promptly
• Monitoring safe procedures and work methods
• Making sure at all times production is running according to spec.
• Do rounds on all running machines
• Giving production report and feedback to the HOD as needed.
• Doing shift and production change over.
Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 matric certificate (non-negotiable)
• Post matric qualification
• Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry a huge advantage
• 3-5 years’ proven experience in the same role is essential
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
