Civil Engineering Documentation & Design Technician or Technologi

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

-Completed National Diploma: Civil Engineering(10 Years. expr required) or Completed B-Tech: Civil Engineering (8 Years Experience)
-Advanced knowledge and competence with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint & MS Project (Added Advantage).
-3-5 Years Experience in a Civil Engineering Consulting Firm
-Vast Knowledge of Civil Engineering Drawing & Design Software packages (Civil Designer, Road Maker, Water Mate....etc).
-Knowledge of MS Projects software packages (e.g. MS Projects, Project Plan 365...etc)added advantage.
-Above average experience in operating/usage of AutoCad/Civil 3D is essential for this position.
-Knowledge of Civil Engineering & Construction Contract (GCC, JBCC, NEC, FIDIC...etc) and their application thereof.
-Ability to administer project contracts, and produce engineering/technical reports and updates on works status regularly and ad-hoc basis.

Mature and Professional demeanor
Ability to work independently, unsupervised and adaptability to work with complex teams from different cultures and backgrounds.
Ability to communicate in English(fluently) & IsiZulu (above average)and any other SA official languages.
Punctuality and excellent time management skills coupled with good leadership attributes.
The incumbent must also be able to contribute meaningfully as part of professional teams for various projects simultaneously and assist with various tasks as and when required. Research knowledge, construction materials specification, and basic cost/pricing of civil engineering projects will be an added advantage.
The ability to work additional/extra hours will be an added advantage
