Data Analyst

1.Responsible for cleaning, transforming, and drawing insights from small and structured datasets.
2.Work closely with our IT team to create specifications for automating essential reports.
3.Clean, transform, and analyse small and structured datasets to generate insights and recommendations.
4.Create specifications for IT teams to automate important reports.
5.Collaborate with business teams to understand the product and process being analysed.
6.Investigate data quality issues with the wider team and suggest solutions.
7.Communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide recommendations for action.
8.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions and strategies.
9.Develop and implement data validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

11.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate abstract business problems into data queries.

Requirements:
12.Honours degree in Mathematical Statistics or Applied Mathematics.
13.Other postgraduate qualifications with a numerical and statistical aspect and/or experience will be considered.
14.Min 4 - 6 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
15.Strong proficiency in traditional tools such as Excel and SQL
Experience in the life insurance sector is required
