Description of the vacancy
A position is available for a Buyer to join our Truck Rental division with the following criteria:
• Must have experience as a parts buyer for truck and bakkie parts
• Be-able to negotiate prices
• Work well under pressure
• Computer literate
• Good communication skills
Experience required:
• 2 to 5 years in as a parts buyer for truck and bakkie parts
Qualifications required:
• Matric and Relevant Qualification
Computer Skills required:
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Required Skills:
• Experience buying truck and bakkie parts
• Purchase quality parts at viable prices.
• Liaise with suppliers on outstanding orders.
• Ensure that best prices are achieved .
• Place orders
• Increase quality aftermarket parts.
• Sourcing and purchasing of stock
• Supplier management
• Supplier liaison and negotiations
• Attention to detail
• Deadline driven
