PRBB, a manufacturer of high-quality commercial trailers, is seeking enthusiastic, energetic and professional Sales Representatives with a passion for Sales.

As a member of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving sales by securing orders from various leads and opportunities. Your consistent and determined work ethic will deliver results, and over time your success will establish you as a key member of the PRBB Team.

Purpose:
To constantly seek new opportunities and drive business growth through building strong customer relationships and maximising on every sales lead and opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarise yourself with the company’s products and services.
• Generate new business by prospecting and cold calling.
• Ensure that PRBB remains top of mind as preferred trailer supplier for PRBB Customers, opportunities and leads.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with potential and existing customers by meeting with them regularly to profile their needs and requirements, understand their business and deliver value-adding solutions.
• Generate interest through professional networks and online platforms in line with company policy.
• Actively pursue leads and opportunities as high priority.
• Persuasively engage and assist the customer in conversation about Company products.
• Prepare and present proposals, presentations and quotations to potential customers accurately and timeously.
• Focus on bringing forward the buying decision, negotiate and close the deal.
• Preparing signed quotations, specification sheets and any other relevant documentation for order confirmations.
• Pipeline management and sales forecasting.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity goals that are aligned with the PRBB Sales Process(90-day contact cycle) and report on sales performance regularly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a positive buying experience and aftersales sales service.
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Ensure orders are processed and the buying process completed in line with company policy.
• Foster customer loyalty to ensure repeat business.
• Collaborating with other departments within the company by sharing updates, progress reports and feedback, working together to achieve shared goals and targets.
• Attend appointments set by the CRM team and act with urgency when action is required.
• Submit weekly call and route planning a week in advance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer interaction records (CRM System).
• Align with PRBB’s company goals and objectives.
• Be representative of the PRBB Brand acting professionally with proper business etiquette at all times.
• Continuous improvement of sales methods and techniques to achieve goals and objectives.
• Continuously provide meaningful market intelligence and customer insight to Management.
• Continuously and actively pursue market share growth in your allocated geographic area.
Requirements
• Proven experience in similar role essential
• Experience in the Transport Industry is viewed as advantageous for applicant but not a prerequisite.
• Experience in commercial trailer sales is highly beneficial
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver results consistently
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Results-driven with the ability to focus on achieving set objectives and goals
• Willing to travel frequently and to manage work during but also outside of ordinary working hours
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Applicant is required to reside in the area for which application is submitted
• Maintain confidentiality
