3D Character Artist Volunteer

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer 3D Character Artist to join our creative team and contribute to our project. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to create visually appealing 3D characters for use in animations, games, or other digital media.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the art director and other team members to understand project requirements and goals.
Create original 3D character designs based on provided concepts or sketches.
Model, texture, rig, and animate characters using industry-standard software such as Blender, Maya, or ZBrush.
Ensure that character designs adhere to established style guidelines and project specifications.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
Meet agreed-upon deadlines and deliver high-quality work within the given timeframe.
Communicate effectively with team members to provide progress updates and address any concerns or challenges.
Requirements:

Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation techniques.
Knowledge of industry-standard software such as Blender, Maya, or ZBrush.
Excellent artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience with character design and animation is preferred but not required.
Availability to commit a certain number of hours per week/month to the volunteer role.
