Non Destructive Testing Technician - Offshore Oil Rig

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our dynamic team and work on various offshore oil rig platform in the Gulf of Mexico. The ideal candidates will be responsible for conducting various NDT inspections to detect defects or irregularities in materials, components, or structures without causing damage. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding safety standards.
As this position is overseas based, applicants should possess a valid passport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform NDT inspections using techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle testing (MT), liquid penetrant testing (PT), and visual testing (VT).
- Interpret and evaluate test results to identify defects, discontinuities, or anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and equipment calibration.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.

**Qualifications:**
- Technical training in NDT or a related field.
- Certification in one or more NDT methods.
- Proficiency in NDT techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prior experience in NDT inspection preferred.
