Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repairs of our client's food production equipment and facilities.

Your primary duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also be involved in equipment upgrades and installations, as well as documenting maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Performing routine maintenance on food production equipment and facilities
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Assisting with equipment upgrades and installations
Documenting maintenance activities and keeping accurate records
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in the food manufacturing industry
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in food production
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Salary:
18.500,00 ZAR Monthly
