Qualifications / Requirements:
• A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management within a warehouse environment
• Hands-on experience working with a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Key Performance Areas:
• Receiving stock:
- Supervise and coordinate the receipt of incoming stock, ensuring that all deliveries are accurate and complete
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Ensure that any discrepancies or damaged goods are promptly reported and resolved.
• Stock storage:
- Oversee the proper storage of stock to maintain orderliness and accessibility
- Implement and monitor storage procedures to ensure that stock is stored safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of stock locations and quantities within the warehouse management system
• Stock replenishment:
- Monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment of inventory
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to facilitate the movement of stock within the warehouse
- Ensure that replenishment activities are carried out promptly to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS):
- Utilize the warehouse management system to track and manage inventory
- Ensure data accuracy within the WMS by performing regular audits and reconciliations
- Generate reports from the WMS to support inventory management and operational decision-making
• Collaboration and reporting:
- Work closely with the warehouse operations and finance departments to ensure alignment of inventory practices with business goals
- Prepare and present inventory reports and analyses to both warehouse operations and finance teams
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory management processes
• Continuous improvements:
- Identify opportunities for improving stock control processes and procedures
- Implement best practices in inventory management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team development
