Marketing Intern

Marketing Intern, a 12-month internship exists within our clients Marketing Department based in Cape Town. For this period the incumbent will form part of the Marketing team, as part of this team you will provide support and assist in building recognisable brand awareness.
Duties include the following, but not limited to:
• Work closely with the development team to integrate and synchronize product listings between WooCommerce and the marketplace platform (e.g., Amazon).
• Implement product syncing functionality to ensure accurate and timely updates of product information, inventory levels, and pricing between platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies related to product syncing, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest marketplace platform APIs and best practices for product integration and synchronization.
• Analyse data and metrics related to product performance on the marketplace platform, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Support other tasks related to e-commerce web development operations.
Requirements:
• Matric
• Strong interest in e-commerce
• Basic understanding of WordPress/WooCommerce and marketplace platform (e.g., Amazon Seller Central).
• Previous experience with product listing management or marketplace integration tools.
• Knowledge of Amazon Marketplace APIs and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Understanding of basic programming concepts (e.g., APIs, JSON).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Stipend: R7 000
