Workshop Manager

Our company currently has a vacancy for a Workshop Manager.

We are looking for someone with prior experience working on BMWs who can supervise our technicians' repairs and ensure it's completed accurately and on time so we can keep providing our clients with top-notch service.

In addition, the ideal applicant should have strong customer service abilities and be able to offer technical support to our staff.

Requirements:

-Qualified technician - Diesel & Petrol
-Experience with BMW essential
-Experience in a supervisory role
-Customer service skills and excellent communication.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Manage workshop, ensuring that work is assigned to technicians in equal and fair manner
-Provide technical support when necessary
-Check progress of repairs throughout the day ensuring it remains on schedule and making appropriate arrangements if it cannot.
-Maintain high quality service and minimizing comebacks
-Conduct spot checks and regular performance reviews on technicians
-Ensure repairs, etc, are charged out correctly
-Road test vehicles
-Accounts for all documentation, and that it is processed correctly
-Handle clients complaints within 24hrs, and informing other managers
-Monitor shop conditions, cleanliness, safety, and equipment, making appropriate arrangements if anything is necessary.
-Coordinate with other managers
-Reports problems to owner and other managers
-Attending management meetings
-Other tasks

Remuneration:
R15000 - R20000 (CTC)
