Job Description

Location: KwaDukuza, Stanger
To undertake and be responsible for the mechanical and electrical
maintenance of the Company
Salary: R55 000 – R60 000 TCTC - based on exp and qualifications
Dept: Landfill, Logistics and LTP
Main Duties include:
• Ensure all maintenance and fabrication work meet the required quality standards.
• Responsible for the security and OHS Act regarding maintenance and repairs.
• Responsible for the workshop on site.
• Preventative and planned maintenance; and electrical maintenance
• Replacement installation, Refurbishment and Repairs tasks
• Manage documentation of asset registers, service reports, and calibration work.
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA Programming and maintenance.
• Oversee suppliers and contractors
• Manage department personnel.
• Inspect plant electrical equipment and maintain inventory
• Keep informed of new technology, trends, and techniques.
Criteria:
• Grade 12 + Qualification in Millwright, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
• Strong mechanical experience
• Electric Control and Instrumentation experience
• 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience in maintenance.
• Knowledge of Landfill maintenance is an advantage
• Computer literate (Google Workspace, MS Office)
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA Programming and maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be available for shut-downs and 24-hour stand-by duties.
