Qualifications / Requirements:
• Minimum of Matric
• Computer literate
• Parts sales experience in the automotive/motor dealership industry
Key Performance Areas:
• Conduct transactions with body shop clients:
- Prepare pricing once quote is received from clients
- Receive order numbers from clients
- Ensure that clients are authorised and that correct signatures are received
- Supply the correct parts from stock
- Arrange delivery to client promptly
- Ensure that all the correct documentation and paperwork is correctly processed within the system
- Ensure that all payments are received and follow up on any outstanding payments
• Sell parts to over the counter clients:
- Conduct transactions with over the counter clients
- Process sale or parts as per dealer standard
- Supply the correct parts from stock
- Receive payment from clients and ensure that payments, cash and cheques are dealt with as per the company process
- Order parts for clients where there is no stock
- Ensure that all the correct documentation and paperwork is correctly processed both manually and on the system
• Ensure client satisfaction:
- Treat the customers in such a way that there are no customer complaints
- Keep the customers up to date with the status of their orders
- Ensure that the agreed CSI targets are met
- Report any unresolved customer complaints to the Parts Manager
