Job Position: Warehouse Controller
Ref: 4778
Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: R21 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience

• Customer and supplier knowledge
• Industry and market knowledge (pharmaceutical)
• Computer literate (invoicing/order processing) advanced

Key Performance Areas:
• Coordinate, monitor and effectively allocate resources and activities to achieve company targets and objectives
• Manage and maintain all company facility assets relating to Operations Department, i.e. physical building, stock, etc
• Provide productivity reports to management responsible for the supply chain process (picking, scanning, packing, dispatch, loading and delivery)
• Deal with and resolve all customer complaints, queries, compliments
• Ensure efficient administration and storage of all relevant documentation
• Continuously explore opportunities for optimization
• Produce and maintain plans to ensure daily, weekly, and seasonal demand fluctuations are achieved at optimal cost
• Oversee and coordinate the weekly/annual stock take activities for the entire warehouse along with the Stock Controller
• Investigate stock discrepancies and aspects that contribute to write-off and the frozen list
• Ensure uptime of fleet to deliver on customer service requirements through preventative/ad hoc maintenance and readiness for unplanned downtime
• Conduct regular fleet inspections to ensure fleet condition meets the Road Traffic Act / AARTO requirements, company image standards
• Ensure all Drivers comply with the Road Traffic Act and/or AARTO that the delivery fleet is compliant with any associated regulations
• Provide monthly productivity reports of key performance indicators for fleet.
• Responsible for taking corrective action when necessary in accordance with Company policy and procedures
• Responsible for conducting Performance appraisal with subordinates on a bi- annual basis
• Responsible for the training and development of staff
• Responsible for allocating work
• Responsible for holding operational meetings as and when required
• Responsible for managing leave, timesheets and hours
• Identify cost saving opportunities and implement cost reduction principles and procedures
• Assist Operations Manager with the preparation of the operations budget in order to meet the projected targets
• Audit temp labour usage and billing reports
• Responsible for ensuring that all activities conducted are done in a manner that will not endanger oneself or any other employee of the Company
• Coordinates all health and safety inspections as well as staff training relating to health and safety policy
• Responsible for reporting any injury on duty of immediate subordinates
• Manage and Oversee housekeeping of all areas is maintained
Salary:
21.000,00 ZAR Monthly
