Job Description

Previous role as head of housekeeping in a hotel or similar environment is compulsory.
Role Overview: The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department's operations, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and order. This role involves managing staff, coordinating with other departments, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and manage housekeeping budgets and expenses.
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Head of Housekeeping or similar role in a luxury hotel environment for a minimum of five years.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
