Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Personal & Commercial Underwriter at The Executive Brokers in Benoni. The Underwriter will be responsible for analyzing insurance risks, underwriting policies, evaluating financial information on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications:
Education: Full qualifications - NQF 4 with RE5
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance underwriting, with a focus on personal and commercial short-term insurance products.
Skills:
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and insurance regulations, particularly in short-term insurance.
Salary is negotiable.
