Job Description
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
2–3-years previous experience in mixology and must have held a similar role previously
Must be able to mix ingredients to prepare signature cocktails
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, beer, spirits
Ability to prepare alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages
Offer exceptional customer service and a friendly service
Ensure and maintain cleanliness of bar and glassware
Responsible for stock take and replenishing of stock
Excellent communication skills – must be able to speak both English and Afrikaans
Must be able to manage one’s stress & deal with difficult customers
Due to the nature of the position, candidate must be trustworthy
Advantageous – Have a know-how of how to pour from tap
Must have a clear criminal record
Must be a South African citizen
Own reliable transport
Grade 12
Bartender course
