Dick Whittington Shoes is a leading footwear manufacturing company seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure accuracy, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
2. Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
3. Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
5. Collaborate with auditors for annual audits.
6. Provide financial insights for business decision-making.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in management accounting
2. 2+ years of experience in accounting
3. Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA)
4. Strong knowledge of accounting software
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with financial planning and analysis
2. Familiarity with tax laws and regulations
3. Previous experience in a manufacturing concern.
