Job Description

Core Description

Technical IT Engineer responsible for installation, maintenance, configuration, support, and service improvements in the OT environment for IOT Clients.

Functional Skills and Knowledge Required
• Active Directory design and support
• Database administration
• VMWare design and support
• Background of monitoring, backup and anti-virus solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of Networks and Network technology
• Experience in a mining environment would be advantageous

Qualifications
3 Year degree/ diploma (NQF 6) in IT or Engineering
Or
Grade 12 with 7 years’ experience and the relevant certifications

Certification/ Professional Registration
MCSE (at least 2016)
VMWare
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
Microsoft Azure Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

• Doing Day to Day Activities as per Process and Requirements
• Managing own Calls

Experience
3 years’ experience in OT system design, deployment & support

Special Requirements
Driver's license.
Primarily based in Secunda but will need to travel to outlying areas with own transport (with compensation)
Candidate will be required to undergo a site based medical
