Job Description

Bookkeeper
Location: Logistics Firm, Boksburg

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team.
Salary: Competitive package commensurate with the position, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities:
Administer all financial functions with minimal supervision.
Manage cashbook and accounting up to trial balance.
Prepare monthly income statements and balance sheets.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
Perform general and financial administrative tasks, including banking, payment processing, and cashflow management.
Handle stock control and reconciliation.
Work efficiently under pressure and manage a heavy workload.
Requirements:

Education: Financial degree or relevant qualifications (e.g., CIMA, ICB, ICSA).
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role and environment.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (training provided for Acumatica).
Intermediate-level Excel and overall computer literacy.
Strong knowledge of GAAP procedures and working knowledge of IFRS for SMMEs.
Exceptional financial management, organizational, and administrative skills.
Effective time management and ability to work independently or within a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Other:
Own transport and a valid driver’s license.
Salary:
30.000,00 ZAR Monthly
