Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Skills Development:
o Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational priorities and shape long-term skills development strategies.
o Conduct comprehensive skills gap analyses to identify current and future training needs.
Program Design and Implementation:
o Develop and implement innovative, tailored training programs that address critical business objectives and operational needs.
o Partner with external subject matter experts and co-create programs for specialized skills development.
Stakeholder Engagement:
o Engage with all levels of the organization to gather insights and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
o Collaborate with HR Operations to integrate training with broader talent management strategies.
Leadership and Mentorship:
o Lead and inspire a team of training professionals, ensuring effective delivery and measurable impact of training initiatives.
o Act as a thought leader, bringing innovative solutions to workforce challenges.
Performance and Outcomes:
o Establish metrics for success and provide regular updates on the effectiveness of training programs.
o Deliver actionable insights to leadership, ensuring alignment with shareholder expectations and business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
o Advanced certifications in Leadership Development, Learning Design, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are a plus.
Experience:
o Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic training management or a similar senior-level role within manufacturing or industrial sectors
preference with MERSETA knowledge.
o Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-impact training programs.
Technical Expertise:
o Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, workforce development, and regulatory compliance.
o Proficiency in leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) and performance tracking tools.
