Essential requirements and experience
• Grade 12 (NSC)
• Development or QA experience
• Software development
• Passion for technology
• Deadline driven
• High degree of IT aptitude
• Attention to detail and focus on quality
Preferable Skills
• ISEB / ISTQB Testing qualification or equivalent
• Automation and/or manual testing
• Software testing tool Jira or similar
• Linux skills
Duties
• Complete and pass assigned tasks and tests as per internship program
• Complete practical tasks on site
• Drive the technical testing function to meet testing requirements
• Test plans and cases to ensure release of high quality software
• Perform software testing (Back-end Testing and Data Validations) to complement existing UI Testing
• Automation of system test cases
• Report software defects
• Setup and maintenance of testing simulation environments
• Work independently to deliver outputs that meet the quality and standards of the employers
