Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of our services while driving continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong leader with operational expertise in wastewater management, engineering, and construction services.
Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management within the wastewater, engineering, or construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and operational reporting.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, mining operations, and specialized engineering services.
• Experience working with government contracts and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all operational activities across company Projects, ensuring smooth execution of projects and adherence to company objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all projects.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government entities, contractors, and clients, to maintain strong business relationships.
• Optimize equipment utilization, maintenance schedules, and procurement processes for specialized plant hire.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions to enhance company performance and sustainability.
• Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and risk assessments for senior management.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures in wastewater treatment, mining engineering, and construction projects.
