Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and providing additional support throughout the facility, including cleaning resident units, assisting in the coffee shop, and performing light ironing duties. This role requires excellent time management, communication skills, and a compassionate approach to working with elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Unit Cleaning:

Clean and sanitize resident units, common areas, and hallways.
Ensure all rooms are tidy, including dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management team.
Coffee Shop Support:

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area.
Help with serving light refreshments or assisting residents in choosing beverages and snacks.
Clean tables and counters after service to maintain a welcoming environment.
Ironing and Laundry:

Perform light ironing duties for residents' clothing as needed.
Assist with laundry services, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
Ensure all laundry tasks are completed in a timely and organized manner.
General Housekeeping:

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for both residents and staff.
Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience required.
Experience working in a retirement home or healthcare setting is a must.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional service to elderly residents.
Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Must be physically capable of performing cleaning and light lifting tasks.
Own transport to work
Working Conditions:

This position require working weekends and holidays .
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
The role involves some lifting, bending, and walking.
