Job Description

Location: Cape Town area
Industry: Electronic engineering and manufacturing industry (established company)
Salary: R18k – R40k p/m neg on experience
Benefits: Provident fund & medical aid
Type: Full-time
Start date: Preferably asap or after notice period

Main role: Establish &maintain business relationships with new ¤t customers in the electronic engineering and manufacturing industry

Qualifications and skills:
• Completed Grade 12
• Suitable technical qualification and experience in Electronic Engineering (Light Current).
• Preferably three or more years’ experience in the electronic engineering or sales environment.
• Fully computer literate, MS Office especially in Excel.(Spreadsheets)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete projects.
• Strong aptitude for sales
• Strong aptitude for figures & accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, ability to liaise with managers, engineers and technical staff.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Presentable & groomed
• Bilingual skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own reliable transport
Duties
• Establish, develop & maintain business relationships with existing and new customers in the electronic engineering and manufacturing industry.
• Make appointments for daily visits to current and prospective customers to maintain and generate new business.
• Assist design engineers in selecting suitable parts for new designs.
• Identify and offer replacement parts for existing designs to engineers and buyers.
• Research sources and analyse the market for developing new potential customers.
• Organise and plan a personal sales strategy to maximize return and time investment.
• Achieve growth and account penetration by effectively marketing all product lines.
• Manage accurate forecasts and achieve targets.
• Supply management with regular verbal or written reports as to customer potential, prospects, new products, competitive activities, requirements, lost orders or any problems that may arise.
Salary:
R 30 000,00 Monthly
